This book is published on the occasion of the artist’s exhibition at Konschthal Esch, Luxembourg in 2025. It was produced by Studio Paolo Nava (Milan) in an edition of 100 numbered copies bearing the imprint of the Bert Theis Archive.
This series of collages is emblematic of the artist’s work in the 1980s. It is based on Edward Bellamy’s text “The Parable of the Water Tank”, a satire on capitalism from his utopian novel “Equality“ (1897), which was widely read in militant socialist and anarchist circles at the time.
